Rules For Casinos & Cardrooms
(And How The Game Is Played)

General Rules

Cashout tournaments will have two (2) prize pools with 50% of the buyin going to each pool.

  1. Cashout Pool 50%
  2. Prize Pool 50%

After the registration period ends players will have the option to Cashout half their chips only once during the tournament or they can opt for a full Cashout.

No player is allowed more than one half Cashout or they will be terminated from the tournament and lose their right to the prize money and the Cashout money. Any disqualified players chips will go directly into the prize pool.

Players can only Cashout their chips when they are on the button, but must inform the dealer prior to the hand being dealt. In the event of a player cashing out, the dealer must give the player, either half Cashout button or a full Cashout button before the hand is dealt. If the player is opting for half Cashout they must state the amount of the Cashout prior to the hand being dealt. A Tournament Supervisor must verify the amount and take the chips out of play prior to the hand being dealt.

When a player opts for a half Cashout, they may Cashout in 10,000 chip increments up to half of their stack. Half Cashout is allowed once only to any player.

Players that have chosen the half Cashout are still eligible for the full Cashout anytime after their half Cashout as long as there are six or more players left in the tournament.

Tournament Deals:
No deals may be made until Cashout option ends. Five (5) players left.

Distribution of Cashout Prize Pool and Prize Pool:
When a player is in the money position and decides to opt for a full Cashout, the player will receive both the allocated prize money for that position and the value of his Cashout. If 2 or more players are knocked out in the same hand on the final table, the player with the most chips will receive the higher position.

Cashout ends when 5 players are left:
The remainder of the Cashout Pool will be divided and added back into the prize pool according to the position the player finishes.

  • 1st position - 30%
  • 2nd position - 25%
  • 3rd position - 20%
  • 4th position - 15%
  • 5th position - 10%

The value of the partial cashout chips will be removed from the table prior to the hand being dealt.

When a player opts for a partial Cashout, he must be given a receipt for the value of his chips from the Cashout Pool. The player can only receive the money when he has finished playing in the tournament.

Re-entry Tournaments

In a re-entry tournament, players can only cashout after the rebuy period is completed.

In all re-entry tournaments, the rebuys and the chip value must be the same as the starting stack.

Tournament Deals

House rules will apply regarding deals. Generally there are no deals made until players reach the required number on the final table when the cashout option ends.
